Altar Servers
Boys and girls from 4th grade through high school are invited to serve as altar servers at St. Michael’s. This is a meaningful way for young people to actively participate in the life of the Church and grow in their faith.
Altar servers assist primarily at weekend Masses, and may also be called upon to serve at funerals or weddings as needed.
Training is typically held in the fall, and each spring, we host a special recognition dinner to thank our servers for their dedication and service.
Interested in becoming an altar server or learning more? Contact the parish office—we’d love to hear from you!

Lectors
Students in 4th grade and older, as well as adults, are welcome to serve as Lectors at St. Michael’s.
Lectors have the special responsibility of proclaiming the Scriptures and reading the Prayers of the Faithful at weekend Masses and on Holy Days of Obligation. No prior experience is necessary—just a clear speaking voice and a willingness to serve.
If you or your child are interested in becoming a lector, please contact the parish office for more information and training opportunities.

Sunday Saints - Children's Liturgy of the Word
During Sunday Masses at St. Michael’s, children are invited to participate in Sunday Saints, a special ministry designed just for them. After the opening prayers, children are dismissed from the main assembly to gather with a teacher who shares the Liturgy of the Word in a way that’s meaningful and engaging for their age level. Through storytelling, prayer, and discussion, the children explore the Sunday readings and gospel in a way they can understand and apply. Sunday Saints helps our youngest parishioners grow in faith and feel connected to the Mass—giving them a strong foundation in both Scripture and community.

Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion
If you have been confirmed and are in good sacramental standing, you are invited to serve as a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion at St. Michael’s.
Eucharistic Ministers assist in the distribution of Holy Communion, which is typically offered under both species at our liturgies. This ministry is a beautiful way to serve the parish and share in the sacred mystery of the Eucharist.
Interested in joining this ministry? Please contact the parish office to learn more or to begin training.

Musicians and Singers
Musicians and singers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to be part of the vibrant Music Ministry at St. Michael’s!
Solo Cantors – Confident singers are needed to lead the congregation in song during Mass.
Whether you play an instrument, love to sing, or feel called to help lead worship, there’s a place for you in our Music Ministry!

Ushers
Anyone age 16 and older is welcome to serve as an usher at St. Michael’s.
Ushers play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming environment for all who attend Mass. They assist with greeting parishioners and visitors, helping those who may need guidance or special assistance. Ushers also help with the collection during Mass and distribute bulletins at the end of the liturgy.
All ushers receive training in security and church environment safety to ensure a safe and peaceful worship experience.
If you’re interested in serving as an usher, please contact the parish office to learn more.
